POLITICS AND IT’S TEMPTATIONS

Some example of political activities in Indonesia that exists today, are the plenary session, the efforts of political compromise, the action of  undertaking on basis of not heeding risks and threats. And here’s one big question in our mind, what is the purpose of the political situation in Indonesia, are these for a place to get a powerful position or for citizens prosperity?

Most of us think, all of those give an impression and hint, that all the hustle and bustle of politics is more for powerful positon than the prosperity of citizens. Therefore, it is not surprising that the members of the House of Representatives fled to the executive, because it may be concluded that the goal of politic is to seek the power. Machination of power struggle is one example of political temptation effect, because the political players do not heed the ethics and morality in politics. Indeed, lexically political means some activities in the country  which function to take care of the citizens. Or the other meaning is activities that deal with the interests of the state. In a broader sense, political refers to the realization of political rights of a person as a citizens.

Ethical goal of political activity is to keep the political activities of Human Rights. It means by political activities, people is growing to make realization of human rights and carry out their responsibilities as citizens. A true politic is to liberate and emancipate human beings from all forms of oppression, political violence, extortion, rape, manipulation, injustice, ignorance and poverty of life together. Political conditions as the humanization of life get a shift in meaning when the political practice of commercialized for personal interests or the political elite of the ruling group in a country. The citizens indicated there is an inequality of political practice recent days in the world  by and said that ethical values ​​are very dependent on the political interests that have an interest, including the ruler. They used politic as the arena of political struggle for power, position and wealth. Political activity is used by a number of elite people to accumulate wealth and seeking personal prestige.

Inequality of political practice spread in other empirical factors that imbalances of the economy. It can be said that anyone who mastered politics in itself also dominate economic life. The people who wants to dominate the economy, they has to be a master in the political field. So, we can take a conclusion that economic poverty was happened because of non-democratic political practices. Therefore, provisions of the law should provide certainty of action is right and wrong, in order to ensure the security, social order, economic, and political. But every word of the verse and chapter in the law can be given meaning and significance according to various versions of the perpetrator. Not the certainty of right and wrong are obtained, but every provision of law would open the opportunity of the elite politic blaming each other while justify themselves and their own faction. The law is no longer functioning as a source of certainty, but the cause of conflict.

Various acts of violence  both vertical and horizontal coverage continues to expand. Debate between some elite politic about the functions and rights of each other, make violent socio-political relations of this country more and more entrenched. However, the elite of this nation still could not understand how it happens in the middle of residents pride themselves as a nation of tolerance and good manners.

The idea at the meeting between elite politic which is not received by the other people, shows the dynamics of our political impasse. Statement elite become productive when they make the citizens do not understand. People are starting toscared by a number of doubts about what exactly is the purpose of the actions of others. This could develop into a situation of mutual disbelief among many groups of citizens, and citizens distrust the elite statements that often ended in violent public.

Therefore, each elite politic and the political power necessary to realize that political correctness is good and who supported the majority and mutual benefit for many people.The elite politic who fail for instance, must accept the risk of losing office and his political position, and not feel lost or embarrassed. And the last, for the other elite politic do not be tempted by the offer of power by way of dirty politics. From here we can only build awareness and collectivity as a reference value of the settlement issue and the different interests, to the nation and state together in harmony.
